The Seminole County Juvenile Justice Center is a 38,000 square foot complex with 4 courtrooms, clerks’ offices, attorneys’ offices, judges’ chambers, a small block of prison cells, and security vestibules with an on-grade parking lot.   

 

John Purdy served as the Project Manager overseeing construction.  Construction of the building included masonry walls with red iron and bar joists, a single-ply roof, and brick veneer exterior.  The project’s scope was a design / build contract.  John reviewed and consulted on architectural plans and worked closely with county staff on building requirements and finishes.
